This is the most important page on the site. Read it. Re-read it. Then decide whether to use Killbot. We wrote it in plain English first, with the formal version below.

1. What you control

  • The exchange account. We never have access. You generate and revoke API keys.
  • The capital exposure. You configure the maximum notional. The engine cannot exceed it.
  • Stopping. Click "Stop Copying" on Binance anytime — no lock-in, no notice period.
  • The fee. A performance fee on profits only — no subscription, no charge in losing periods.

2. What we control

  • The strategy & signals. Our quantitative engine decides what to trade and when.
  • The execution. Each position is held until the strategy's exit signal — there is no built-in stop-loss, take-profit, or time-stop.
  • The exposure cap. Total open notional is bounded by a configured maximum.
  • The daily report. What we traded and the running PnL.

3. What neither of us controls

  • Market gaps. A flash crash can fill an exit at a far worse price than intended. Slippage happens.
  • Exchange outages. If Binance, Bitget, or a mandate exchange goes down mid-trade, we cannot execute the exit until the venue recovers.
  • Liquidity holes. Low-volume hours (Sunday UTC, post-news periods) can widen slippage materially.
  • Regulatory action. Your jurisdiction may restrict crypto derivatives or copy-trading.

4. Performance disclaimers (the formal version)

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Performance figures published on this site reflect a specific configured exposure, leader pool composition, exchange access, and market regime that may not be representative of conditions you will encounter. Hypothetical or simulated performance has inherent limitations, including the absence of actual trading and the benefit of hindsight in strategy design.

5. Software not advice

Killbot is software that automates order placement based on deterministic rules and configured limits. It is not investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to trade. We do not act as a fiduciary or investment manager. You are the trader on your own account. We are the toolmaker.

6. Jurisdictional limits

Killbot is not available to residents of jurisdictions where automated cryptocurrency trading software is restricted. By using this software you represent that you are not located in, and are not a resident of, any such jurisdiction.
