Is Killbot custodial? Do you hold my funds?+
No. Killbot is non-custodial — we never have access to your account or funds. You generate a trade-only API key on your exchange (no withdrawal permission), and the engine places orders within the limits you configured. Revoke the key anytime, the engine stops trading immediately.
What exchanges are supported?+
Currently OKX, Bitget, and HTX (read-only on HTX while we finalize execution). Binance and Bybit are blocked by their API restrictions for non-US/EU residents. We add new exchanges roughly every 6–8 weeks based on user requests.
How is this different from 3Commas, Cryptohopper, Bitsgap?+
Three differences. (1) We publish daily PnL and bugs publicly — they don't. (2) Our risk overlay enforces seven hard rules including a -6% drawdown cap, regardless of strategy choice. (3) We charge a flat fee, not a % of profits, so we have no incentive to push you into risky setups.
What if the engine has a bug and I lose money?+
We publish a postmortem within 48 hours of any bug we ship that affects user accounts. Past postmortems are at /postmortems. We also run a security bounty for issues that bypass risk controls — see SECURITY.md.
What's the win rate? Sharpe ratio? Max drawdown?+
All published live on the homepage and /blog. Recent track record: ~57% win rate, Sharpe ~1.4, max drawdown 5.6% over 55 days of paper trading on $1,000 simulated. These will change with market regime — that's why we publish them daily, not as a static marketing claim.
How do I cancel?+
Click "Cancel subscription" in your dashboard. Effective at the end of your current billing period, no questions, no retention call. Within 7 days of starting a paid tier, you also get a full refund — email hello@killbot.cash.
Is this financial advice?+
No. Killbot is software that automates order placement based on rules you configure. We don't recommend you trade. We don't guarantee profits. You can lose money. Read /legal/risk for the full disclosure — written in plain English, not lawyer speak.
